Jessner's Peel

The Jessner Peel is generally considered a medium level peel containing (Salicylic, Lactic, and Resorcinol.) The depth of this peel is determined by the number of layers applied during application and the tolerance level of the skin it is applied to. It is recommended that new users begin with 1-3 layers for a light/medium peel. Generally 4-6 layers will result in a medium/deep peel and 7-8 layers can result in a deep peel.

How to apply: Prep the skin by cleansing face with Salicylic Cleansing Gel. Pat dry. Tone with Anti Aging Glycolic Toner 7%. Apply Jesssner’s Peel evenly coating desired area keeping away from eyes and nostrils. Immediately repeat application of Jessner’s peel to the desired number of layers. (1-3 layers for a light peel) (4-6 layers for medium peel effect) (7-8 layers for a deeper peel effect). Once applied wait 1 to 3 minutes then begin removal with tepid water rinsing the entire area several times to make sure all of the peel is removed. Follow with Redness Rescue, a desired moisturizer and a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.

• You should not use a skin peel if:
• You are currently taking Accutane or have done so within the past twelve months;
• You are pregnant or nursing;
• You have a tendency to form keloid scars
• You have a sexually transmitted disease such as herpes, HIV/AIDS, or a similar condition;
• You are undergoing cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and/or radiation;
• If you are not willing to follow the post peel regime and use a sunscreen of SPF30 or higher.
